Dates

It is worth mentioning early on that Animal Shelter Manager has a keyboard user interface for dealing with dates (as well as the more usual calendar button). Every field within the system where a date is expected, the following keyboard shortcuts can be used:

• T - Inserts today's date (erasing any current date)
• Y - Adds one year to the current date
• M - Adds one month to the current date
• W - Adds one week to the current date
• D - Adds one day to the current date
• SHIFT + (YMWD) - Subtracts a year/month/week/day from the current date
• B - Move to the beginning of the current month
• E - Move to the end of the current month
