Warnings

• Warn on close if an animal has no pending vaccinations: All animals should need a vaccination at some point, even if it is just an annual booster. Ticking this box will make the system warn you if you close an animal record that has no vaccination scheduled.
• Warn when adopting to a non-homechecked owner: If the owner record does not have them down as homechecked, the system can warn you if you try to adopt an animal to them.
• Warn when adopting to a banned owner: The system can warn you if you try to adopt an animal to an owner who has been marked as banned.
• Warn when adopting to an owner in the same postcode as the original owner: Self explanatory.
• Warn on multiple reservations: If set, the system will warn you if you attempt to reserve the same animal to different owners.
• Warn and cancel additional reservations when an animal is adopted: Setting this option will cause all outstanding reservations on an animal to be automatically cancelled when it is adopted.
• When entering new owners, check for similar names: Setting this option will force ASM to check new owner names as you enter them and let you know if you are entering an owner that is potentially already on the system.
• When entering new owners, check for similar addresses: Setting this option will force ASM to check new owner addresses as you enter them and let you know if you are entering an owner that is potentially already on the system.
• Warn when adopting to an owner that has brought an animal in: The system can check and warn you if you attempt to adopt an animal to an owner who looks like an owner who brought an animal in. This is a loose check based on name and address.
