Surrender/Rehome a pet

If you need to rehome your pet and would like MARF assistance, please fill out this application. If you are not able to maintain the pet during the rehoming process, there may be a waiting list for foster homes. MARF has no shelter building. Most of our animals are kept in foster homes. We rescue the strays from the City of Madison. Sometimes these animals must be boarded until a foster home is available. We routinely have about 10 animals in boarding, 12 cat foster homes, and 16 dog foster homes. We do take owner surrendered pets when space is available. We ask that the pet be vetted and/or a donation made for the vet care. MARF receives no government funding and must rely on public donations and adoption fees for care of these animals
