The Local Cache

Whenever a report is generated in Animal Shelter Manager (or a document/form is generated for an animal/owner/movement), a copy is kept locally on the machine in an area called the ``Local Cache''.

At any time, you can view the local cache and recall reports and documents, simply by navigating to Preferences->View Local Cache. From here, you can view any of the documents in the cache - useful for many situations, eg: Where you printed off a document and gave it to someone else and need to refer back to it.

The cache toolbar allows you to remove either individual or all documents from the cache at any time. Animal Shelter Manager does not remove anything from the cache automatically by default, so it is up to at least one user to empty it occasionally.
