Importing Data From PetFinder.com

ASM can import animal data from the SQL extracts sent out by PetFinder.com. The extract files are actually the latter part of a SQL INSERT statement and look like this:

(8519600,'Dog','M','Shepherd','Adult','DogName','SC543','L','F',

'Some info about the dog.','*','hasShots,altered','2007-05-29', ,

'2009-05-24 21:30:07',NULL,'X','Shepherd', ,123,NULL);

ASM can read these files and create basic animal records from them. You can find this option under System->Database Tools->PetFinder Import.
