Operating System

If you choose this method, ASM will look at the username of the person logged into the operating system. It will then attempt to find a user in it's own database with the same name. If one is found, the user is automatically logged in with no login screen. This is an appropriate method to use if you have a hot-desk type setup where people log into different machines.

WARNING: If you select this method and don't have a matching ASM/Operating system user you will not be able to log into ASM. You can clear this setting by opening a SQL tool on your database and running ``DELETE FROM configuration WHERE ItemName LIKE 'AutoLoginOSUsers';''
